Thank you so much, I have watched the entire video.😀 A question regarding the start time of a layer 00:56:05. If I drag a layer's green triangle to frame 50, so basically frame 50 is my new frame 1, and frame 49 is my new frame 0? If so, what are the frames before 49? is it better to not add any keyframes to frames before 49? Because now these frames seem confusing to me.

@modelmananimation

In your comment, you are thinking about when we have one layer only 🙂 But let's say you made an animation with three layers and you want the animation of one of the layers to be played later than the others, in that case you set its start time to something like 50. But still other layers will be played during the first 50 frames. So the first 50 frames are still useful here :)😁 Also, you should know that the reason that you may want to use this feature (set layer start time) is that sometimes you want to move a layer forward or backward in timeline, to move all of its keyframes.🤔 for example let's say you have a layer with hundreds of keyframes and you want to move it forward in timeline. in that case moving keyframes forward does not move all of them! because the keyframes that you have on the frame zero won't move. unless you use set layer start time as this, moves everything including keyframes that you have on the frame zero! And also, you should know that moving the green triangle forward, doesn't change the place of your frame zero, Frame zero is always zero Then you might ask: why we have a green line at the frame before the frame of green triangle for each layer? 🤔 the reason is, moho developers wanted to help you remember that when you created your layer, which frame of your layer was at the place of the frame zero (green line) and which frame of your layer was at the place of frame 1(green triangle). So after moving your layer backward or forward you'll still be able to move your layer back to its first position. Then again you might ask: it seems having one of them is enough. why we need two markers (green line and green triangle). The reason is that we have two types of artists: 🙂 1. some artists prefer to start their animations from the frame zero (for example to create a movement they create a keyframe on the frame zero and then they create the next keyframe on the frame 10 for example). 2. While others prefer to start their animations from the frame 1(they ignore the keyframe on the frame zero, and copy the keyframe of the frame zero to frame 1 so the animation will be started from the frame one and then they create a keyframe on the frame 10 for example) That's why moho developers created a green line for "frame zero lovers" and a green triangle for "frame one lovers", so after moving the layer backward or forward, they will know where the animation is gonna start depending on which type of artist they are😁 If you found the answer of your question please let me know by replying this comment ❤😉

Is there any way to move selected keyframes with hotkeys? I love your channel ♥
@modelmananimation
@modelmananimation 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment and your kind words😍❤ Currently, Moho 14.2 and previous versions does not have this feature. So there is no shortcut to do that. But if Moho had that feature, it would be great☺! The closest feature to your idea is two keys on top of timeline called "push frames right" and "push frames left", which will shift the keyframes after the playhead to the right or left. This feature has been added to Moho since version 14.0😉Other than this feature, you can shift all keyframes to right or left by holding down right click and dragging on top of your timeline or using sequencer😁 And of course the other way is to select the ones you want and move them to right or left manually by dragging on one of the selected keyframes.

Hi, thx for this video! I have a question: when I manipulate the keyframes consolidated, there's always something that's not affected. What might be the problem?
@modelmananimation
@modelmananimation 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching my friend🙏The answer of your question depends on what you mean by "manipulate"... as you know we have two ways of consolidating keyframes: 🟢1. you can consolidate the keyframes of the current layer by right clicking on channels icons at the left side of the timeline which i do at 14:23 🟢2. but sometimes you may want to consolidate the keyframes of all layers and not only one layer. in that case, there are three ways to do this. 🔸one is that you can go to options on top and click on consolidate layer channels which i do at 14:34.🔸 another way is that you can go to the option in preferences at 14:53 which will consolidate the keyframes of all layers. 🔸and also there is a new option in Moho 14 timeline which i show at 57:52 of the following link which will also consolidate the keyframes of all layers: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioSQoZtrqdWXpLssi=p62dFxdkqsahTr1P So if you know the difference between these two methods, I assume you chose method 2 (you consolidated the keyframes of all layers and not only one layer) and you manipulated some keyframes. 🙃Here, if by manipulating you mean changing the interpolation (smooth, linear, etc) of keyframes, and moving them forward or backward on timeline, then you should have no problem, except that when you move a consolidated keyframe, the keyframes of one layer will only move! not the keyframes of all layers. even though the keyframes of other layers are consolidated. What i am saying it that, to move consolidated keyframes or change the interpolation of consolidated keyframes, you have to first select them all. 🙂If you wish to find a way to "select" and manipulate all keyframes of all layers at the same time, i suggest you watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpirdp57bJdsfcUsi=8M_NNneIoUwfY5Ou 🤔Also you should know that when you are manipulating the keyframes of all layers at the same time, there is a limit for Moho to "do the same thing that you did to your current layer to other layers." By default that limit is 10. That means if you select more than 10 layers and do something to your current layer, the changes may only apply to first ten layers next to your current layer, and the others may not be effected, just as you said in your comment. and to change this limit, from top, go to edit, preferences, go to timeline tab and change "Max selected layers". But be careful, as changing it may have a significant effect on the speed of the software and the time of processing my friend

Do you have video on how to render animation with transparent background?
@modelmananimation
@modelmananimation Жыл бұрын
Not yet. I have a plan to make videos about this in season 4. This is season 2. The thing that you're looking for is called "render RGB+Alpha" While Moho doesn't have a feature to render VIDEOS transparent, there is a solution. You can choose PNG format to render your project as some png images. As you know they are transparent. Then you can use those png images as png sequence and import them as png sequence. They'll become a video again. But the software that you use for importing has to support png sequence Jojo.😁

hello how can i make the path visible? and why is it that when i click motion graph every keyframe disappears?
@modelmananimation
@modelmananimation 10 ай бұрын
Hello my friend🙂 first of all, what do you mean by path? do you mean the path of shapes? (the one that is a line and has points on it, we call it path and also we call it curve)🤔 or do you mean the path that is created when you want to move a layer? (we call it path, or to be more specific, we call it motion path)🤔 If you want to show the path of shapes, hit t to select transform points tool. Then hit "ctrl shift c" to hide/show the path of shapes and the points of them. To see how I enable it in Moho 13.5 you can watch this video from 0:19: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHPZfnakjZicm7ssi=EOigCxJEw0AKySRL And if you're using Moho 14 and higher, you can watch this video from 4:45: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anvRc4xsZ8qWe5Isi=lQiFZRMaAc1vlsBm If you mean the path of the movement of a layer (motion path), first, go to a frame other than zero. Then hit M to select transform layer tool and move your layer to create a keyframe for the position of it. Then from the top, check "Show path" from the options bar. Now you should be able to see the motion path of the layer and add point to it. You can see the motion path when I'm explaining at 4:50 of the current video. Also to see how I enable it you can watch this video of mine from 9:10 : kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKXMXpmtiJaWrNUsi=Yt5taNQagQ6-EuT5 About your second question, I already answered your question at 20:03 of the current video. You just have to double click on the channel at the left side of your timeline. But you should know that there's an exception, and that is it doesn't work for the keyframes that you create using transform points tool. I mean the keyframes of the "point motion channel". This channel is created when you hit T to select transform points tool and move some points to animate them. "point motion channel" has two dimensions. x and y. and Moho cannot show you how x and y change over time with one single line. there has to be a line for x and a line for y. That is why you should separate dimensions to actually see the line. To do that, hit T to select transform points tool. Then hit ctrl A to select all points. right click on the "red motion point channel" and separate its dimensions. you see how I do it at 27:48 of the current video. Another point is that when you move several points to somewhere else, there is not one x or one Y that is changing. it's multiple Xs and multiple Ys that is changing. And you know that it is not possible to show how several Xs or several Ys change in one single line graph! That is why Moho only allows you to separate the red channel of "point motion channel" and not the white one. And that is why to see the line graph, only one point can be selected. You can see how i do it in 28:06 of the current video.

This one is a bit old(it's from my season 2 playlist), I guess my speaking skill is much better now 😉 I'm starting to realize it myself, it sounds funny sometimes when I rewatch my old content 😂 Especially the videos of my season 1 and season 2 playlists 😁 reminds me of the early days of starting this channel, spending hours on recording a one-hour video with my wierd Persian accent, no support, no comment, not even a single like or view, you know, but I knew one day people would understand it. Because my videos are Unique 😃
