First off, thanks for this! You made this super easy! The only problem I have is that the center "node/nurb/dot" thing is off to the side like yours; when I use the transform > rotate, it rotates around that dot, which is not the center of the circle (path). How do I get that dot into the center of the circle, so that the text rotates around the center of the circle? THANK YOU!!!!! (BTW, When I use the "first margin" expression, like you did, it works fine. But, I need to do it the transform > rotate way due to other graphics effects I am going to do.)

Followed this tutorial but my text turned inwards when flipped and backwards. Then when I copied and pasted it duplicating it, just pasted the text away from the circle not along the circle.

I used the square for my mask. When the reverse path is on, the text is in the mask and the letters are colliding. When I click to reverse path, the text is outside the mask, but the text at the top of the square looks reverse. How can I solve this problem?

@@kennyleeyoung I ran into the same problem. Fix: probably you're drawing a rectagle with the text tool before typing the word to animate. Only click and type the word without restrain it with the text box. Hope it fixed it too

@2:45 how did you fit the text box, to fit evenly and centered on the circle? it jump cuts, and you don't really show that part 😅Because when I copy and paste, the text box isn't even centered with the circle, so it the rest of the "pasting" can't even be visible... unless I completely missed it- in which I'm so sorry.

Might as well ask since I've been looking up a solution for a few days. Got a Circular mask with text wrapped around it. I need the mask to scale , while keeping its shape without the text font scaling itself. I know the solution is to tweak the mask path to achieve the result with a double click. However I find it very cumbersome, since I need to be precise and there's multiple layers of text that need to be organized into smaller circles at a relative distance from each other. I was wondering if anybody knew how I could connect it to a slider control or a similar-esque solution. I've tried with the pick whip as well as with the following expression: "valueAtTime(effect(“Slider Control”)(“Slider”));" but neither proved to be successfull.

Got it! For some reason when you play around with positioning on the text before forming the make/circle it mucks the sequence up. Wait until you have completed the effect then tweak positioning. 😆
