I love that Apollo does this. I had a Zero 10x and I was mystified on how to do this basic maintenance (and local bike shops refused to help).

I think it would be good to mention that sometimes the brake discs are due too mishandled transport even out of the box a little bit bend, which can be fixed quite easy with some force and a screw driver

I really like all the maintenance videos you guys put out, they help a lot. If you ever get the time to do a maintenance guide for the hydraulic breaks as well. And perhaps include the manuals for the NUTT system somewhere where it could be easily found. I would be even more happy. (Atm, I´m trying to figure out what break pads I need to buy, I know I´v seen the information somewhere in either the FAQ´s or in some videos, but i can´t figure out where I saw the info.)

Can you move the caliper up and down, so pads ar griping better? Also what if brakes still squeak after all those adjustments? I did wash disc with aceton..

Apollo Phantom did not please me at all. Brakes made noise until I grinded down parts to make more clearance

Are hydraulic brakes better than mechanical brakes?
@707zacbuster3 жыл бұрын
Basically if you hear a noise when your wheels are moving, the brakes are too close to the wheel?

Yup!

@@ApolloScooters I just receive my phantom, with hydraulic brakes, when I ride, I can ear like a bell noise for each bump on the road , it's the top of the nutt brake making this sound(around the metal pin) , can a adjustment fix that ? and when I brake I ear a strange sound(I'm new to hydraulic brake) is it normal ? the break power is perfect Everything else look good, you guys did a great job, the ride is so smooth and the power in sport mode, amazing ! Worth the wait 👍

This information was completely useless and the brakes shown here don't even look like the ones in my Phantom.

Hey there, If your brakes don't look like the ones in the video, it is likely because you have the hydraulic brake variant! For our brake adjustment on this brake set up please check out the video linked below! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYW1pniHp6xkbqs

@@ApolloScooters thank you for pointing out this important detail. As much as I dislike hydraulic brakes, I need to learn to use them. Your video link has helped.
