First, open the Messenger App.
Next, tap on the three lines icon
on the top left corner.
Then, tap the settings icon.
After, choose Active Status.
So, click on Show me when you're active
switch button to turn it off.
You can set your active status to be paused
Until you change it,
For 1, 8 hours or even let it custom until a specific date or time..
Finally, tap Pause to let your active status paused.
