Absolute wonderful product, its quick setup by just follow the instruction as printed. Direct usage (doesn't need thinner unlike other brands), odorless and viola, the kit is primed, where you could move on to continue next kit. just refill and primed, Cleanup process on our airbrush is routine. I have observe AMMO product, there is lots of well define thoughts on its product when it presented to the mass (hobbyist), I must say great work from the AMMO team to help scale modellers achieve task more quickly with their products, this create a more inclusive environment to encourage more to take up this hobby. Well thought process! Wonderful!

Hi Mig team. Firstly Im huge fan of Mig products that's why I decided give a try one shot black. Usually I use Mr hobby or enamel based AK primers, absolutely no problem at all spraying. 1)Sprayed on 1/35 big model so I refill 3 times. a) I followed recommended instructions with pressure and used cheap 0.4 airbrush b) first run went smoothly, second problems with tip dry and clogged airbrush end, third - virtually impossible, all clogged. Somehow I manage finish spraying and save airbrush. Very difficult to clean up after. No problems whatsoever with My Hobby and AK (refill and clean up) 2)Surface when dry looks grainy, almost like sandpaper and need smooth down. 3) Please advise. Wrong product or Im doing something wrong. Btw all model was cleaned before spraying using alcohol wipes and dry.

Good morning Pawel, It is important that the One Shot primer is shaken thoroughly before use. From your explanation it sounds as though the primer may be sitting in-between coats and as you are working on a large model, it may need a shake before adding to the airbrush. Regarding the texture, this does not sound normal for the One Shot primer. Please can we ask that you send an image of this texture to: rrss@migjimenez.com ? In this way we can take a look at the images with our team to identify the cause of the issue, Thank you so much, AMMO Team

I use this primer two years. Quality of this primer varies by bottle. Same airbrush, same pressure. Sometimes it just sprays out of bottle. Sometimes it chokes nozzle and not sprays without thinner
@AMMOofMIGJIMENEZ

Good afternoon Igor, We recommend using a 0.3mm or larger nozzle to prevent any blockages, and we do not recommend thinning the primer as this can effect it's properties. It is important the primer is thoroughly shaken before use, as if it is left sitting for a period of time it's components can temporarily separate. This may be causing your issue of clogging. Alternatively, you may be working with too much in the cup of the airbrush, which with acrylics can cause some small particles of paint to dry in the cup and cause a blockage. Please know if you continue to have an issue we are always happy to support you, you can contact us about any problems via email, and we will be waiting to help, Thank you so much, AMMO Team

@@AMMOofMIGJIMENEZ Thank you for your answer. I use Iwata Revolution CR with 0,5 mm nozzle for priming. And yes, I shake the bottle before use. What do you mean - not too much paint in the cup? How many is this "not too much"? Usually i fill about 2,5-3 ml of primer.

@@igorarchibassov7551 Good morning Igor, We recommend working with several drops at a time to prevent the risk of any primer drying inside the airbrush. You also mentioned that sometimes you are able to spray without issue and sometimes you have a problem: it may be possible that in the incidents where you could not spray: the airbrush had a blockage in the nozzle that needed cleaning. As a final recommendation based on the information you have provided, the One Shot Primer has a slightly higher recommended pressure than our normal acrylics: you may find your experience improves at a pressure of 2 Bar (30 PSI.) Please if you continue to have an issue do not hesitate to contact us via email to: rrss@migjimenez.com In this way we can help more quickly and efficiently with any trouble shooting, Thank you, AMMO Team

I have had the same experience, some bottles don't even look right, the primer is streaky inside the bottle and cannot be mixed properly. And the thickness also varies. This one shot is actually badger stynylrez, made in the USA. Its known that some people experience issues when spraying. Ultimate Modelling Products also sells the same stuff, labeled as ultimate primer.

@@AMMOofMIGJIMENEZ okay so I can be getting ready to spray a project I'll have a clean airbrush nothing in it.I put some one shot in starting to spray get a couple passes it's good then a little start to sputter I look at the tip it's relatively nothing on the tip of the needle. So then I proceed in absolutely nothing comes out it just doesn't want to even move I can turn the pressure up I can send it even though you're not supposed to I'm just trying not to see if it'll run me to the situation of it being clogged nothing I literally have to dump the primer out of the cup pull the needle back spray some air clean it with cleaner put the Needle back in and repeat and it just gets clogged again. one thing I can mention is that it happens with stynelrez ,and .Vallejo.so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong I don't believe so I've been airbrushing for years I've never had any of these issues only with acrylic paints in general but mostly these primers which stinks because I like them I want to get away from the harsh lacquer base stuff. One other thing it seems to happen more prominently with black as I really haven't tried the white as much or the gray but black seems to be the problem even with flow improver still have no luck I'm not sure if I got a bad bottle or what. For the most part all of the ammo all the paints I have a spot on have no issues

I have the same problem with all water-based acrylic paints. Probably there are two solutions. First of all you can try to add some amount of thinner and flow improver. Second - stop using water based paints and go for alcohol based, like Tamiya, Mr color. These paints flows perfectly without any problem, that have water based paint. One big problem with tamiya/mr color paints is small paint chart, as a result - you should mix paints to achieve the color you want. p.s.: If anyone has better solution you are welcome to tell us how to avoid clogging.

New type (with black lids) will clog much much easier than older ones with yellow caps... BUT... after I sprayed tiny bit of Vallejo AB cleaner thru the clean brush (as much as I can clean it), spray One Shot in 5ml cup (so about 3ml paint per session), as soon as out, spray some AB cleaner thru it - then add another 3-4ml primer and off you go - rinse and repeat - I finally got a proper result... primer is going out like crazy, one bottle seems not to be enough for 3 1/35 tanks but it's still holding the surface like crazy after applied correctly... Why are they so touchy in the past year or so? I don't remember it clogging so easily with older yellow bottle lid...
