It covers EXACTLY how to apply as a volunteer in Germany to settle in and live a beautiful German life.
Here's what you are going to find in this fact-filled guide.
First, I'll tell you why it is the ONLY easy but LEGAL way to move to Germany in 2023 through volunteering there.
The brief intro covers what volunteer work in Germany is all about.
Then comes the salary-related questions. Like either or how much would you get paid for the volunteer jobs in Germany?
Next, you'll get to know whether or if you can do any other work besides volunteer work in Germany.
Then an overview of German places where you'll find yourself doing social work on joining.
I'll cover the benefits of doing social work as a part-time job if you are studying or want to study in Germany.
In the tips section, you'll know all the important things you need to know before your application.
For example, the least and the most requirements to apply for a volunteer in Germany. And how can you improve it if you are missing or lacking any mandatory thing.
Then I have explained in detail all the German volunteer programs and categories. i.e. BFD (Federal Voluntary Service) program and FSJ (Voluntary Social Year) program.
At this point, you'd have enough knowledge about volunteering in Germany.
And so is the right time to show you how to apply as a volunteer in Germany online step-by-step from the ease of your home.

How could I book an appointment for FSJ? Is it a work or study? Because in online appointment system there are only two options 1. Work visa, 2. Study
@Frostfairs
@Frostfairs Жыл бұрын
Hi, Saifur Imran, thanks for commenting. First, I've no idea where are you trying to book an appointment for FSJ. Second, volunteering is considered employment in Germany, so it would be working not studying. This means the first option "1. Work Visa" would more likely be the best for this.

The minimum wage in Germany is not 5500 euros/month. Volunteers earn around 450 euros/month as pocket money
@Frostfairs
@Frostfairs Жыл бұрын
Hi, Agnes. Thanks for offering your insights. Are you currently volunteering in Germany? If so, we would love to hear you more on our channel. In our video's salary or pay section, we stated the range from 2500 to 5500 euros. The lower range is something you can call the official minimum wage and the upper range is the average minimum salary being offered or given. Do you understand that difference? Well, of course, the newbies are given even less than 450 euros per month. Yet, many professionals are offered even more than the average handsome German salary package. You see, in the section, you're referring to, we try to give a whole picture. From the laborers to the skilled professionals volunteering their time in Germany.

But if you don't like waiting, watching this video a couple of times will give you a complete sense of the stages. And BTW, applying for a visa is not 1st stage. @Frostfairs
@Frostfairs Жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for commenting. You know what, John Sculley, former CEO of Apple Inc. and Pepsi says, the future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious. So when you're on the ground, it's you, who have to find, see, create, or carve possibilities for you. You can search for other jobs, you can give interviews for the jobs, and once you secure a job. The rest is the matter of your visa which is subject to the laws and policies that change from time to time. And of course, a secured job would have your back for that.

@Frostfairs
@Frostfairs Жыл бұрын
You're welcome, Sylvia. As long as you fulfill the minimum requirements mentioned in the video, you are as good to go as anyone else. The rest is just some extra formalities you need to fulfill. Like, bringing the dependents with you in Germany has something to do with your visa type. And as we all know, volunteering work in Germany is considered employment. So if you are entitled to live in Germany, your spouse or children under the age of 18 are also entitled by the law.

Hello I'm from Uganda in Africa, which level of Germany language do I need for me to apply in a volunteering organization in Germany??
@Frostfairs
@Frostfairs 9 ай бұрын
Hi Annah. It depends on the organization you're going to apply for volunteering. And that is because every volunteer organization has its own standards or requirements. So, it's best to confirm with the organization you're interested in working with. To give you an idea, most people already volunteering in Germany say, it was an A2 or B1 for 'em. Hope you get it. Thanks.

Hi Ibrahim, there is no such requirement. To volunteer in Germany you only need a basic understanding of German language. i.e. up to at A1 or A2 levels. The higher, the better though.

How clear interview can you send some questions for preparation interview
@Frostfairs
@Frostfairs 5 ай бұрын
Hi Gulshan, that's an interesting question. And guess we should make a proper video about interview preparation or tips to clear your interviews. But to give you some hints now, your interview questions would most likely be about your majors. For example, if your major subject or skill is about nursing, then you'd most likely be asked about that, a gardener would be asked about gardening, and so on. Rest assured, you should expect one detailed video about it soon to be uploaded on our channel. Make sure to check back later. Or rather click on the bell icon to subscribe to our channel notifications to not miss the video. Thanks.

May I clarify some points please? - 5500€ is NOT the minimum wage in germany! Actually with 5500€ you would be considered very rich in Germany! - Volunteering work is UNPAID work, thats why its called volunteering. Sometimes you get a little money, but it hardly is enough to cover your accomodation and living cost. - If you apply to germany, A1 language-test is not suffient.

Hi Terry, If you meet all the conditions stated in the video, then congratulations! you've got the maximum chance of getting accepted as a volunteer in Germany. Hello, Mickey. Glad you liked the video. Hope you have subscribed to our channel too. Ok so, your willingness to learn the German language is not merely enough. You'd have to prove it to the employer by appearing in a German language certification exam also. As explained in the video, you should have a German language certificate despite the fact what language grade it reflects. This means you don't need to master the German Language, in most cases basic working proficiency would be enough.
