It is always better to be transparent with the visa applications. If your supporting documents are strong enough, you don’t need to worry about the rejection. So I would recommend you to mention the actual reason and the purpose of your visit.

1. As your sister is a permanent resident, I would suggest getting an invitation letter from your sister attested by a notary public from Canada. There are many samples of invitation letter online and she can use any one. The notarized letter can confirm your identity and reason for visiting Canada. The letter is also an assurance that the invited person is having right intentions to visit Canada, and that they will leave Canada as at and when due. While the majority of the applicants do not require one, an invitation letter accompanying your visa application will improve your chances of being allowed to visit Canada. But, a letter of invitation does not guarantee that a visa will be issued. 2. A strong covering letter mentioning that you are visiting your sister for a shorter duration only and you have to convince the visa officer that you will be returning back to your country by mentioning the strong home ties. If you are working, attach your employment letter, payslips and bank statements which will also help the visa officer to know that you have a job back home and you will return after your stay. 3. With the recent inflation, the labour market is slowing down. While finding a job in Canada is not easy now, but it is possible as per the recent announcement from the immigration minister. Make sure to look for opportunities all over Canada and please don’t narrow it to Ontario only. Good luck on your application😊
