This is the process of a skilled craftsman applying the traditional reed membrane "Cheong" to a bamboo daegeum. I recently upgraded from a plastic daegeum to a handmade bamboo daegeum, and the person who made it applied cheong. An introduction for anyone interested in traditional Korean instruments!
