This is a really neat idea. Heat & Bond is usually used by sewers/quilters for applique but you still typically have to do something to finish off the edges; this looks like it would take care of that problem by covering up the very edge with the vinyl.

You can use Silhouette Studio - Business Edition - to make designs for both Silhouette, Cricut and Brother Scanncut. This since you can save SVG-files now. As long as you have Business Edition, that is. You can even purchase SVG-files in SilhouetteDesignStore (.com). Not ALL their designs, but most, I think.

@kristybaxter84677 жыл бұрын
Normal, the reverse setting is for the HTV only.
@pressonnatty26777 жыл бұрын
If fabric placed on mat with bond/glue side up then reverse cut, if fabric side up DONT reverse. If using a carrier sheet from other htv(like an old glitter carrier sheet) then put fabric side on carrier (bond side up) then cut in REVERSE.

How to keep your mats so sticky?
@NinaS___7 жыл бұрын
Wash with baby wipes or mild dish soap to clean the mat, can - in itself - help re-sticky your mat a bit. If you still need to get the mat more sticky, blend off the non-sticy borders around your mat with painters tape, then spray your mat with a NON-permanent spray glue. I live in Norway, Europe, I use a spray called 3M Re-mount, but I'm not sure if it is available in the US. In US silhouette-groups I see many people mention that they use the Krylon spray. Again, make sure it is non-permanent.
