I use that on my bottom denture and every time I eat something doesn't e what it is , my denture comes loose and then rubs raw spots on my gums. I've lost 10lbs just because I avoid eating because it's such a pain in the ass to have to fix them every time I eat. I don't know how to solve the problem. Someone plz help!!

@@kbeldenkb Unfortunately no I haven't. I've been using Fixodent ultra max hold and it works ok but my bottom denture still comes loose when I eat anything. The only thing I haven't tried is the powder. I bought some so I'm going to try it. I will definitely let u know if it works. It's so frustrating!

@@tammynadeau8144 Mandibular dentures will almost always be very poor. If you can afford it, look into implant supported overdentures.

@@kbeldenkb I saw a video where a woman used fixodent ultra MIXED with fixodent powder and she said her dentures didn't move. I got dentures December 1st and not using adhesive yet. Soon though. That's why I'm here watching this lol.

Lots of people on here crying about this and that, I have never had a problem with fixodent adhesive, I store my tube in a draw, no hard bits or blockages but then I line the denture all the way around and wiggle the denture around while applying light pressure until it feels comfortable, I have never ever had a problem with this adhesive.

nothing holds those bottoms down I've used fixodent on my tops for 35 years and it's always worked but not on my bottoms I don't think cement would hold those suckers down (please don't use cement it was just an example)

Does Fixodent adhesive cream still come in the ' FREE' formula, instead of all the other dyed and tinted red formulas? I prefer the "FREE" formula over all the others. Let me know how I can obtain a case of the free formula. ASAP

After removing your denture clean the best you can ,then,have a hot drink like tea as a example doing this will desolve you adhesive left in your mouth .it works very well for me .

Your Fixodent Ultra and other Fixodent denture adhesive products using small discharge openings need to be upgraded. The adhesive cream solidifies in the opening causing the remainder of the cream to become useless. I’ve tried running hot water over the end of the tube, using a toothpick to unclog. These work arounds work sometimes, but not always, and I end up throwing half the tube of adhesive out. A waste of time and money. Maybe a small nipple in the cap that when closed seals the tube opening would alleviate the problem. Until you fix the problem I will not be using your product.

Vladimir Lem, NO. Emphatically. NO. Your gums need to breathe. If you put superglue in your dentures, you won't be able to remove them and bacteria would build up on them making you extremely sick. So. Again. NO!

I am wondering the same thing. My crowns were put on 13 years. One was perfect the other malpractice. It fell off after a few days. I used a denture cream but I cannot remember which one. I think it was a reddish orange color. It lasted with no problems until last night when it fell off/was pulled off during flossing. When I applied it 13 years ago, yes, 13 years ago, I bit down on an old leather belt to set the crown/cap. Last night I used DenTemp and it failed within 12 hours! Go figure. 🤷‍♂️

I just got mine and the first time using this this same thing happened to me. It upset me so bad because I thought I did something wrong. I was freaking myself out. I wear them at home because they still fit well but I won’t use the adhesive unless I go somewhere

I'm not a pro but yesterday I used regular tooth paste and warm water and regular toothbrush only on my gums and roof of my mouth it took a couple minutes but it took the stuff off the gums and roof of my mouth also followed by mouth wash they said mouth wash has Alcohol in it and that loses the stuff as well .But that's just an idea

I agree, it's horrible! I've been using a different paste for a year, Corega, but I guess they're about the same. In my experience, after 6-8 hours the dentures become loose and need re-doing, but on the bright side, the paste has basically disappeared. Find a sink, remove, spit, wash and dry, reapply. Otherwise, if you need to remove left over paste from your mouth, one wipe with a tissue will change it from slimy to sticky, then you can just reach in with another tissue and pull it off. But yeah, it took some getting used to. Now I'm so happy to be able to laugh, and smile, and eat, I love my dentures! Good luck :-)

Foxipaws ADAnderson, I read where people use towels to remove it. I just use a toothbrush with water as hot as I can stand it. But some times, I just leave it. By the time I wake up, it is dissolved.
