I hope this video simplifies the process of applying for a student visa for you. Recent news suggests that international students may benefit from a pilot program in New South Wales that could see them returning in batches as early as July 2021. Does that mean anything for your plans to study in Australia? Good luck!!

Hi, Please, I'm going for a research degree (PhD). I read on the site that I would not need to provide my proof of English language. How true is this? I have a scholarship and will be applying soon. Thanks as you deal with my question.

Hey there I’m thinking of applying for a PhD, for the money, if I was granted a full scholarship from a university would that be enough to cover my acceptance for a student visa?

Please I want to come through the study route. However, the agent we are consulting told me that I shouldn’t bring my family with me. That I should go alone first leaving my young kids behind. I don’t want to leave my kids behind. Is there a way out?
@lifewithchioma2 жыл бұрын
Hi Diamond Rose, yes, it's common advice from agents and I believe it has something to do with the risk assessment that some visa applicants are subject to based on their country of citizenship. My only suggestion will be to put forward a strong statement in your GTE to explain why you want your family with you. Back that up with an impressive evidence of financial capacity and make sure you meet all other relevant requirements eg, family cover for your OHSC. At the end of the day, I am not a migration agent and the above are just suggestions. Best wishes.

Thank you once again for the great and highly simplified video. Please i am abit confused about something regarding the proof of financial capacity. Is one required to pay subsequent tuition fees from there? Also please how much does the health insurance cover entail? Thank you once again.
@lifewithchioma3 жыл бұрын
You're welcome Ijeoma. Your proof of financial capacity is a document to demonstrate that you can fund your first 12 months of living and studying in Australia. The most important thing is that you pay your fees when they are due regardless of the source of your funds. As per health insurance, there are several providers and they all charge different premiums but on average, it's around the range of $40-$45 per month. So calculate that for the duration of your student visa. I hope that answers your question. Good luck with your plans and thanks for stopping by ❤

hi there, what if you have these money in different accounts lik 2 or 3 bank accounts of yours. can 2/3 different banks statements be submitted or do i need to move the whole money into 1 account?
@lifewithchioma2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you can do in that situation. My opinion will be to have it all in one, but I guess it might affect the 90-day hold period you need to demonstrate. So seek advice from a qualified agent.

Hi Must the total fund required for visa processing be kept in ones bank account for the three months or we can show evidence of funding the account over the period?
@lifewithchioma2 жыл бұрын
Hi Osazuwa, in my experience the money needs to have been sitting in your account for at least 90 days.

Hello, if I am not currently in my home country, am studying in another country, and i have applied for australia, i have already received my CeO, for my student visa application, where should i do my medical exam?
@lifewithchioma Жыл бұрын
I would imagine you can do it in your country of residence as long as you use one of the approved panel physicians.

Does the scholarship recipient needs to show the proof of fund?
@lifewithchioma2 жыл бұрын
You just need to show proof of your scholarship that covers your tuition. You may be asked to show evidence of funds to cover living expenses for the first 12 months at least.

Hi Chioma, it's me again. My company is sponsoring me for my Masters. Is it acceptable that I show their own account details or it's mine that I have to show?
@lifewithchioma3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ekama, I wish I knew the answer to this one. I can only recommend to ask a trusted migration agent (or two to be sure) , but equally as important to dig around in the official Home affairs website. If I come across any useful information, I'll let you know. Thanks!

Please, your video is exceptional. God bless you Madam. Please, I am yet to receive my CoE from my University. I can open an account at the immigration website and generate the form that will permit me to go for the medical check up. I just want to have all my information and documentation ready to avoid delay. I have fully funded scholarship that covers OSHC for myself and my immediate family.
