Hi, i am international student working as full time at burger king restaurant but now there is ongoing renovation to the store. I got temporary lay off letter and ROE. So with your video i applied EI. How long is the process for receiving EI? Does I need to submit any documents if yes then where?

Hi I suggest you to call Service Canada once. Usually from your last date depending on if there is any severance package you got(if not and everything is good, after 14 days they will kick off the EI). Once you call Service Canada EI helpline they will give you accurate info.

Hi for EI call service Canada they will be able to guide you as you have paid for EI. This in no way will impact PR application. As long as you meet the points, have money in bank account and no financial or criminal record all is good

When I was applying for my EI. I was selecting the option of termination without cause. And below there was an option did I submit electronically clearification why I got suspended or terminate? But I don’t know where to submit that document. Please help me with that.

Hi don’t worry anytime you are stuck call service Canada EI this way you can check if company has submitted your document and they have on record. They will get it initiated and help you. That way you know that you have done it all right
