it depends on what option you have chosen to submit the application. if you have chosen physical document options then yes, you have to send the documents by post to the nsdl office at their pune address and if you have chosen e-sign or e-kyc option then their is no need to send.

Yesterday i apply with my addhar card, it just auto fill my resident (i can't fill up manually since the forms were disabled). In the steps where you have to upload proof of identity etc. ( 13:41 ) , the adhhar card was auto selected and can't be change (no reason to change anyway). And it gave no options to upload my photos or signature too. I paid online, my photos were there and forms all filled up in pdf. I receive emails from NSDL saying i registered successfully. My question is... am I doing it right?? >.

yes it all right, everything is linked to aadhar card i.e your photo, signature, fingerprints etc. so no need to do anything if you have registered succesfully.

Just sign on a blank paper, and then scan that paper on any device after that crop it using any photo editor and then upload it.. its too simple.
