Hey. You can ask literally anything and everything. Ask about logistics like how students work, working hours and the likes, res. Ask everything you need to know

You can apply before observing. It’s better to call and let them know you’d like to come and observe, in case there’s anything they have to prepare on their side.

I just got my conditional acceptance letter yesterday around 8pm from UJ and now I'm scared because I've heard people saying its late by now. Is there anything I should worry about? yho Theo Iam panicking and all these things you've said just overwhelm me.

If you’re in Gauteng, I’d advise you to personally visit the hospitals you’d like to practice at- more especially public hospitals. At this point, most hospitals are either planning to have their interviews done or they’ve had them already. It would be easier to go and see the clinical tutor in person and explain your story and submit your application

How do I send my conditionally acceptance letter when it requires a password...do I need to tell them my password when I'm applying for the training center..like send it with the documents?? Also when forwarding the message to as many hospitals as you can it doesn't matter if they see it as "forwarded message" or you have to type it out for every email??

Hey, you can send them the letter with the password, alternatively you can send a screenshot. Please don’t just forward the email, it’ll seem like you didn’t put any effort.

Each hospital has its own contract and terms. Some do pay for your tuition. They will communicate full details with you soon

There’s TRAINING; which happens while you’re studying, and you can only do it at the specific hospitals selected by UJ. And then there’s OBSERVATION which happens before you’re fully accepted and this can be done at any hospital that has a radiology department.

There is a great chance of admission in a public hospital. But it’s possible to get a rejection letter too.

You don’t have to be in scrubs for your observation. You can wear anything that looks professional and is comfortable for you.

You can observe at any hospital, it doesn’t have to be the prescribed ones. December will be too late for your application. Do it now because spots get occupied quickly

If I’m understanding you correctly, the hospital in Mpumalanga can’t provide you with training if you’re applying to study at UJ. The only hospitals that can train you are the ones on the uj list

You can observe at any hospital, there’s a form that you’ll have to take with you to the hospital that you’ll observe at, the radiographer there will sign it and you’ll submit it to UJ when they need it

Hello Conquer how are you it’s Ntshuxie here , unfortunately I am off Instagram will be back in October. Let me try and break it down for you . I did my Mammography course immediately after Comserve at university of Pretoria, it is a one year course, which you attend every Saturday, you can do it even if you are a permanent radiographer even locum . You must get yourself your own training facility with mammography unit , I did my training at Dr George Mukhari Hospital. The course you must pay full amount bfr enrolment with was R12500.00 The other university that is offering mammo course is UJ and CPUT. cape peninsula university of technology. Same outline for most of the things you attend online you only meet for OSCE’s or if there’s an urgent meeting or if the lecture wants you to write exams in the school .
