The back of your neck is unnecessary, its better to go, 2 behind each ear, two along the neck(or if you have one) the collar, and then two sprays on one wrist and rub against the other, any excess on the wrist can be applied to your top in an X pattern. All of these places are near or directly on pulse points which puts out the scent more

My dad always did one spray to the chest, sprayed each wrist, and applied the cologne from his wrist to both sides if his neck, then the spray in the back of the head as shown here. And I've been doing that ever since. His idea of spraying the wrist was that when you hold a women. She can smell you from the side your body is and which ever arm is placed around. One spray on the wrist then dab or hold against the other wrist. Do not rub them together as the excess heat from the friction will change the fragrance profile and cause it to fade more quickly. One spray to your torso area under your shirt or jacket. One spray behind your neck. If you think 5 sprays to the neck is proper, you're probably usually a weak fragrance. Even so, do y'all think the target of your attraction will start smelling your neck randomly in public? No they won't. You'll have a much easier time enticing then with a fragrance on your wrist as you move your hands around, a fragrance on your torso as you talk to them in close proximity, or a fragrance on your neck as they hug you. There's nothing worse than a nostril full of an over powering fragrance in this situation. You may not notice it because you're used to your own smell profile but it will definitely be a minus to everyone else that's close by.
