How to apply glue-on Kiss nails without any bubbles - long lasting - better than professional nails

I've always struggled to have perfectly manicured nails with the upkeep. There is just so much life to be lived that sitting in a nail bar for a couple of hours every two weeks just feels like such a drag (not that I won't at some point lol) but right now with so much to do the Kiss nails are a great substitute. I literally get compliments on the daily. I love wearing jewellery and don't feel embarrassed of chips or scratches on my nails. And the best part, they endure all the abuse from having kids in the house. Try my way and let me know what you say! :))

Girl thanks. I get bubbles all the time that's why I usually stay away from the french and transparent nails. That glue is good and it doesn't dry as fast as they claim it does because it gives you some play time to adjust your nails before pressing them down.

Exactly!! but the trick is to use a lot of glue and done press it down otherwise the glue will leak out of the sides. :)

You are the best! I recently starting buying press-ons but always struggled with air bubbles. These turned out perfect!! Realized it was the pressing down that caused the air bubbles. Now my nails look salon quality. I appreciate the tips!

This worked GREAT for some of my nails, but others still got massive bubbles. I think part of the issue is when the artificial nail has a more extreme curve than the natural nail, it naturally wants to let air in to fill that space.

Love those petit nails vry kool I cannot wear false nails atm coz my left hand on the third finger is a bit damage and am worried that it may go green underneath! :-) But for sure false nails is the way to go if I don’t have time to go to a nail salon 👍🏻👍🏻

You cannot wiggle the nails with the glue that comes in the package it dries much faster. Also directions say to press for five seconds. Idk. I think applying glue all over the natural nail and then none of fake nail and applying at an angle from cuticle down and immediately pressing for 10 seconds and not letting go so no air gets under is the way to do it with the included nail glue in the actual package. You are using their nail glue purchased separately

oh I got you!! you must try using more glue. I mean like quite a lot and then put a drop on the press on nail. So what you do, put a lot on your nail then a drop on the press on nail. Place the press on nail on your nail but don't press it down. Play with it like I did in my video and let it dry. This should do the trick. Let me know how it goes. All the best!!

Every time I use these, even if I just put the one drop that the directions tell you to put, I get a ton of glue around the edge that makes my skin stick to the nail, and I absolutely hate that. Underneath the free edge of the nail and around the sides. But they also come off within only a day or two, which makes them less cost effective. So I've always thought about putting more glue, like you doing this video, but I feel like if I put even more glue, I'll have even more issue with it sticking to my skin. I don't know what to do!

Just try not touching the glue that squeezed out until the nail is on and then just quickly wipe it off with the orange stick or your finger

Hey Melissa :) I suggest using a little more glue and quickly after you have applied the glue, grab your nail. Use a tweezer if that helps to place the nail. Any access glue can be cleaned after a few min with a cue tip. Also, I'm sure you are, but ensure you prep your nail well. Hope this helps. If not, shout and we can figure it out together. Also try Dawson's approach. Time is crucial for these nails to last. :)

I make sure to clean the whole mail plate and use 💯 acetone around my cuticle and oil on the skin can cause it to lift I buff my nail with buffing block and I use super glue for artificial nail mine stay for full 2 week around week 3 they start to become lose from doing stuff I hope this help

Thank you so much for these tips! I’ve been using Kiss for years, and I love them. No expensive trips to the salon-not once, but twice-every month. No obvious signs of gaps from needing a “fill”. They last quite a while (3 weeks on average). I’m such a perfectionist, and mistakes irk me. That’s the reason I’ve always used the clear nails and painted them myself, so bubbles from the glue were never visible…That is until last night when I decided to use the pre-painted French manicure. French are my favorite, but I avoid them because I fear the bubbles. But since they were tinted pink, I didn’t think the bubbles would show….Well, they did. 😒 I even bought the pink glue, thinking that the reason glue has a color is to conceal the conspicuous bubbles. I mean, why else would anyone care what color the glue was? 🤷🏻‍♀️ So, I came across this video, and I finally think I know what I’m doing wrong. I’m pressing the sh#t out of the nail! 🤦🏻‍♀️ In a few weeks, when I’m due for a new set, I’m going to try how you did it, by gently setting….resting….the nail onto the nail bed and allowing it to adhere. You make it appear effortless! I’m always afraid that the glue is drying out on me so I move so quickly. The glue seems to drip off the sides of my nail, which sticks to my skin and looks like a hot, chalky white mess! I have no idea how you use a dry paper towel! I’m surprised it doesn’t stick to the glue or show lint/dust from the fibers. What does work for me is a wet wash cloth. I just quickly wipe away any spillage, and I sometimes get the dry, white glue residue, but it dissipates after a few hours after I’ve washed my hands a few times or whatever. A small price to pay for salon-quality look. I always get compliments and cannot justify going back to the days of spending time and money on a salon experience when I get the same results from the comfort of my own home, on my own time, and my own budget! The best way is to align the white tip to the white tip of your real nail. This way it will look natural to the shape of your nail. This is my trick! :)
