What alternatives to the agate burnisher tool is there? It's not easily available where I live (or online) and not affordable to get it shipped either.

I bought the miniatum ink after watching this video and was very disappointed! I cannot get my goldleaf to stick where I put the ink, in some places it sticks where I didn’t put ink. You were saying (as with most goldleaf sizes) to wait till it’s dry before applying the goldleaf but if I do so, absolutely NONE of it sticks. I’m very confused… Prior to this I’ve been using MonaLisa goldleaf and size. I liked the smooth effect you were getting and thought this would be an upgrade, but it’s far more finicky and after trying to vary drying time and amount of size still doesn’t give me a satisfactory result 😢 Am I doing something wrong?
