My current CAI is painted in a matte black wrinkle paint, will this product stick to the wrinkle paint or do I need to strip the paint first?

I got a roll from a seller on Amazon and did my intake. i have a intake in wrinkle black and the gold tape i used stuck really well. Just did my matte black inter cooler piping as well

Is it worth it on plastic intake tubing or negligible?

Yes, it does work on plastic piping. We recommend cleaning the surface with a degreaser before applying.

Just terrible... Ever heard of electroplating? Apart from it being a hot air intake instead of a cold air intake like the ones all OEM manufacturers design through their engineers.
