I do love Sally Hansen polishes, and most of their products are really great. I do use Orly Bonder Base Coat prior to polishing with color and it does help adhere the polish making it last longer without little to no chipping. I also add a top coat every two to three days to freshen up the shine and strength of the polish. So great to see women of God sharing their talents, and faith, and being a witness to others. Perhaps you can help me with some concerns, in the past I have applied nail polish on when I was on my way out to events because they did not even last me a day without peeling. Recently I bought the Sally Hansen miracle gel nail polish, I tried to look for the steps to apply it, bottom coat, two of the nail polish and top coat, it does last me 2-3 days without chipping or completely peeling; a friend encouraged me to have my nails done at a salon before a trip we were taking, suggesting that hers last 3 weeks (I had done these many years ago, but quit it because it did not last more than two days, and being pricey). The lady at the salon did not want to apply the Sally Hansen gel nail polish (I took it to them mainly because of the color), she instead applied OPI, which is the polish that needs to be cured under UV/LED lamps. Two days later, the polish was chipping off my nails up from my nails. I have suspected for years that it might be because of excess of acid in my organism and/or hormones. Now here it comes a question for you, I would like to try the bonders/primers they have out there, my concern is that those bonders need to be cured under UV/LED lamps, and I am concerned about health issues related to them. So, I would like to continue using the Sally Hansen miracle gel because does not require those lights/lamps, but, do you know of a bonder and/or primer that will work with the SH's miracle gel, and if so, would you kindly let me know which are they? It is disappointing it didn’t last 8 days…and there was tiny chipping on day 3. I bought Sally Hansen’s 2 step gel polish last weekend and plan to try it soon. Thanks for sharing your process.

Do you buff your nails before applying polish? I’ve read that helps prolong the polish.

I bought yellow and Matt top coat. The color went on with streaks and is very slow to dry. Maybe the polish was old. I pray for everyone and pray to God a lot.

Has anyone noticed a change in the top coat? I have some from a while ago that are thick and once on feel smooth, shiny and amazing and I have new ones that go on thin, still very shiny but they don't have thick coverage, ie. like when covering a textured glitter or something you can still feel it through the top coat, even if you double coat... I am so sad because this has been my top coat forever and I can't find any even similar in finish :(

It’s so crazy because I went to CVS got the same exact color, nail polish roses and shine and I got the topcoat by accident thinking it was the regular topcoat and then I watched a video to see if it’s good or not and you had the same and did the same exact thing that is so weird

This type of Gel "Cures" in natural light, you don't need a UV/LED Lamp

Sall Hansen is the worst. You can gel salon quality gel polish for this price. Essie is similar priced, is great quality and looks like professional gel. Lasts waaay longer too.
