Builder is hard to master especially with your non dominant hand. I find starting with a thin slip layer makes it easier. Keep practicing, you'll get it eventually.

How do you avoid lifting on the free edge?

Not going to lie, I don’t! My nails do grow really quickly so once the lifting starts, I start picking at them. I have heard that if you don’t apply your first coat close to the cuticle, that helps a lot. Also buffing your nails prior so the gel has a good base to stick to. I might not be able to master that just yet but I hope this helps or works 💕💕
