In this video, you will learn how to apply your formula only on visible cells. You can filter your data using slicers or auto filters.
But except for Subtotal and aggregate, all other MS Excel functions will consider even the data that are hidden or filtered out.
But with some additional help from the filter function and subtotal function, we can perhaps make every single MS Excel function consider only the visible cells.
In this video, I have talked about using this for Sumifs, Unique, and Filter. But you can also the same logic for other set functions such as Averageifs, Countifs, etc. You can also apply it in Xlookup, Vlookup, etc., as well in Office 365.
