Hi! I’m currently a high school student, and I haven't graduated yet, may I ask you how many semesters of transcripts does NTU need at least for applying? 4 or 5 ~~

So sorry for replying this late! I think 4 semesters are enough. I personally submitted the transcript of 10th grade (1st and 2nd sem) and 11th grade (1st and 2nd). If you haven't graduated yet, you need to submit the certificate of enrollment to prove that you are a student of highschool that you're going.

I don't think there is a preparatory program but they do have General Chinese courses for international student! It depends on the department but I recommend you to study basic Chinese or maybe prepare Chinese proficiency exam before applying 😊

안녕하세요 대만대에 대학 입학정보를 찾기가 너무 어려웠는데 이런 영상 너무 감사합니다. 고등학교 내신은 6-8등급으로 하위권입니다. 내신이 차지하는 비율이 어느정돈가요? 불가능한 성적에 속할까요..?

보통 대만대 각 과 마다 매년 받는 국제생 티오가 적은 편이라 합격 확률이 적다고 생각하실 수 있지만 국제생 전형으로 지원하는 분들이 생각보다 많지 않기 때문에 내신성적이 낮다고 해서 무조건 떨어진다! 라고 단정지으실 필요는 없습니다. 어떤 과를 지원하시느냐에 따라서 그 조건의 차이가 있겠지만, 내신 이외에도 영어/중국어능력시험, 외부활동 경력, 자소서, 스터디플랜등 지원자를 평가하는 자료가 많기 때문에 용기 내셔서 지원해보시면 좋겠습니다! 시작조차 하지 않으면 아무런 결과도 얻을 수 없으니까요 :D

Is it mandatory to take the Chinese test and IELTS exam to study in ntu?

depends on which program you would like to apply for, but I think Chinese test will be required for most programs since their main language is Chinese 😀

고등학교 내신성적을 안보는 과는없겠죠ㅠㅠ? 내신성적이 바닥중에 바닥이라... 대만대까진 안바라고 그냥 대만에있는 괜찮은 공립대원하는데ㅠㅠㅠ

there are some courses taught in English (u can see from the website) but I think they mainly use Chinese (not 100% sure cuz I haven't started my freshman year 🤣) but you better study the basic before applying here! that will be helpful :)

저도 자세히는 모르지만 대만대 웹사이트에 입학 관련 정보를 보시면 high school equivalency certificate (검정고시로 해석이 됩니다) 를 가지고 있는 사람들도 학사 프로그램에 지원할 수 있다고 적혀있습니다! 자세하게 어떤 서류들을 준비해셔야 하는지는 웹사이트를 자세히 읽어보시거나 입학처에 메일로 물어보시면 도움 되실 것 같습니다!

아무래도 내신 성적이 높으면 합격 확률이 더 높을 거에요. 만약 그렇지 않더라도 HSK 나 TOCFL 같은 중국어능력시험 점수가 높으면 그것도 좋은 부스터가 될 것 같습니다😉. 제 중3~고3 내신성적의 총 평균은 92.3점 이었습니다 😀
