They're SUCH a disappointment to me, and seriously get on my nerves because they've ruined almost everything I've tried them out on. Thank you so much Deena! I was afraid, for a long time, to work on kraft and black paper, now I love it. Kraft more then black- black is beautiful, but I am not managing to take nice photos of black. Kraft is much easier :) 😘

I have experienced the same struggles with Dylusions sprays nozzles, not just the shimmer formulas, but also the regular formula. The latter was shocking to me because there weren’t any mica particles to clog the nozzle. I don’t have issues with nozzles for any of the Tim Holtz sprays (Spray Stains, Oxides, Mica Sprays) even though they are also made by Ranger. I take care to wipe the nozzles after every spray and store the mica sprays on their sides (except for Lindy’s because it isn’t necessary). Your art work is amazing, and your integrity and character shine through. Keep being you! ❤️from Ky, USA.

I can totally relate to the messy fingers, I HATE getting mine like that, but then rarely have the patience to bother with gloves so.... Hello Asia. As usual, love your video with or without voice. Totally agree about the Dylusions sprays. They know is an issue and instead of fixing it they say buy extra nozzles 😱 what the heck!? So I have to spend more money get the heck out. Stopped buying them. Ms. Dyan don’t wanna hear it either when asked about the issue she gets upset with you for bringing it up. Dear Norma, thank you for your comment! Seriously? This is the way they react to a quite a huge problem? It is truly a shame! And a very bad marketing. Lindy's sprays, which I have been using for years now (around 7 years), they are still in perfect condition! Of course it happens that there are some clogged nozzles with Lindy's as well, but I used to be their designers for years and I managed to collect more then 100 sprays, and maybe, just maybe, there is around 10 which do not work anymore simply, because they are very, very old. I guess this is quite good if it comes to quality. I will not buy Dylusions again and I am happy that we can all talk about it. Big hugs!

This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing your artwork and your process. I love black and white on Kraft paper but will try your technique of adding dylusions spray ink on white paper and making cut outs with it. I’ve had my Dylusions sprays for years. I always had trouble with them until I started rinsing the spray nozzles under hot water for a few minutes before I use them. I then spray each one into the sink once or twice to make sure it’s working before drying them off. I rarely have issues with them anymore. I love their vibrancy but the ink isn’t permanent which can be problematic at times so I don’t use them as much as I used to.

You are absolutly right about the sprays. No matter what brand, they are all garbish.Even the empty spray bottle (for water) from Nuvo suddenly after 3 years doesn´t work anymore.

This is so sad! I actually didn't have too many problems with Lindy's Gang sprays. Also, they are I think the only brand who offered dabbers as an option ( it seems not anymore), but that was a great idea when it lasted :) Big hugs!

Gorgeous page and colors! I have not had any problems with my Dylusions sprays but I have with other brands. If they are already clogged and you keep trying to spray them, they will back up and leak from the nozzle. Just be careful with these because they are very intense colors and will stain your hands, temporarily. I love your work and you really inspire me to get back in my journals. Thank you so much!

Oh I dislike sprays myself and have watched others in the past have the same problems... My only tip is from Tim Holtz himself... Always wipe the nozzle clean after every spray, if you put one colour down to pick up another colour always wipe it then. I assume it's the amount of pigment in them that produces the clog. So after that they start to leak, also always shake well as the pigment sits on the bottom of the bottle and that's where the end of the spray tube is taking it from.. Whether you can sort your problem bottles out now I wouldn't know. I love this page especially on the craft paper... Gorgeous 😊😊💓

It’s too bad that you had trouble with your ink sprayers….but the project turned out beautifully! I do like the contrast using the Kraft paper too! I like it when you chat about what you are doing and I love yr accent!

Agree on the Dylusions, they are awful. Too much work to flush them out everytime and even then they clog. I like the Lavinia Stamps Sprays - so far so good. Thanks for the inspiration!

As always, your projects are wonderful. I had the same problems with that brand but I do love the colors so I just stoped to try to spray them at all. I use a brush. I recently start using more craft paper, so I truly enjoy the inspiration. hugsss, Oriana

Beautiful project. I have also had problems with the Dylusions Sprays, I've had mine a while now & they have always leaked badly. In fact I changed all the spray bottles which did help.

Thank you so much! I can only recommend Lindy's Gang sprays, but there are two types shiny (starburts) and flat. I do prefer flat, but they are not always as vibrant as Dylusions :( But the quality is good!

Same thing happened to me with those sprays. The colours are lovely but they are extremely messy and hard to control. Same for the Dina Wakley sprays.

I haven’t had any issues with my dylusions sprays, I have the regular ones and the shimmer ones. I have had MAJOR issues with the Dina Wakley sprays, almost immediately after purchasing them the sprayers clogged. So I understand how frustrating it is to have sprays that won’t work!

You are so lucky: Maybe they fix the problem as my sprays are quiete old, but they clogged almost from the first day. And I know how to use sprays :) They do have such a vibrant colors! I am not sure where are you based, so I can't tell you more, but even if you get your hands on sigle sheets of kraft paper, you can later put them together ( I have flip-through videos where I show how to make an art journal from loose pages)😘

I'm so sorry, unfortunately I have had the same problems with these same ones and Tim Holtz and Lindy's and Tattered Angels sprays, first they clog, then they leak and make a mess.

Hi Chris! You did have problems with Lindys? I had few which got bad over time, but that was few out of over 100 a have at home ( I sued to work for Lindys). With Lindy's I noticed, I always need to clean the nozzle and thay are great. At least mine were and I am so sorry for your experience! It's so upsetting when you spend money and can't use the products... Big hugs! xx

Thank you :) It is a plexiglass desk protection, whih got old and reflected too much light from my lamp. So I bought a sample of furniture sticker thingy ( sorry, don't knwo the word, but it is like a wallpaper but a sticker) and I covered it with it. I will need to change it soon as it gets damaged though, but it lasted me already almost a year for like 2 euro :) x

I recently tried those sprays and was also disappointed. Pumps didn’t work. Leaked. And product smeared when I used matt medium to layer collage papers. Don’t waste your money!!
