Hey, that's fantastic and thanks for making the video. I've just finished an 8x8x8 but already have a 16x16x16 kit. One minor point was it was hard to hear you over the music. Thanks again. Look forward to more kit builds from your channel.

This is awesome work and it's great to see the building process and the results, but if I could make one suggestion it would be to not use music (or have it at a much lower volume) because it's hard to hear what you're saying in some places. I would much rather hear you than the music, you know?

Just to clarify, in the video you say that the anode is the shorter leg of the LED, but is that correct? The cathode is the negative pole of an LED and the anode is the positive pole, and the shorter leg of an LED is the negative pole therefore shouldn't the short leg be the cathode?

I built a cube like this (RD16) bought from AliExpress . I had a lot of trouble getting it up running. The main problem was the LEDs, they break down very quickly. It was a hell of a job and to find out at the end that the products are of poor quality, they burn at a very high rate with each feeding.

Sorry for what you was experiencing. Mine is running good even now. I don't turn it on 24/7

Ciprian !! i also build now the second one, but both are not working. one level shines permanently. nothing more. if i remove the +cable from this level, the cube show me 2 words..... but also nothing more. if i push any button, the cube only flash very fast . any idea? i was extrem carful by my second one ! but he show the same issues like the first one. i cannot believe that i have made the exactly same mistake on 2 Cubes . maybe you have an idea? thanks

to make it simple to install the panels on to the board, furthest pin away should be long enough to fit in to the board, a line should be marked from the other side of the panel at the end of the wire graduating to the pin on the other side of the panel, that way should be so much easier to guide the panel pins into place

It took you 8 hours to make a 8x8x8 cube? Are you some kind of machine? I'm making one now, incidentally from Zirffa too. I'm only three panels deep so far and I guess it will take me 40 hours. Not counting time fixing mistakes, staring at the wall and watching others cube builds on KZbin. Nice build.
