when i try to combine the back and the seat part it just doesnt stick like theres nothing keeping it together even with the screws

try going over the steps I did at and see If YOU missed something.. that metal bar should screw securely into the bottom then the top part attaches to that

Mines also the steel plate came the opposite of him, 4 holes on top and 3 holes on the bottom and I cannot even put them together what a scam, gonna tell them for a refund right away; it took me around 3 f... hours to assemble this chair just to realized I can’t put them together 😡🤬, and I’m not kidding about the f... 3 hours
