How to assemble a ribbon bag tag with an acrylic blank and beads

Thanks for not editing out your “work arounds” when you ran into problems here and there. It was refreshing to see a video with a real life feel. Most of us aren’t professionals and deal with crafting hiccups all the time! Love the acrylic bow. Did you purchase it as it is, or did you add custom glitter and resin yourself? If you didn’t yourself, I’d love a video of that process too!

Thanks for watching! Mistakes happen and I agree, people need to see that and see how there can be ways to work around that. Thank you for complimenting on that! As for the bow, I customized it. It was just a clear acrylic blank initially. I glittered and vinyled it. I do nit work with resin so all of my acrylics are customized using Crystalac waterbased top coats. Specifically grande finale. If you go through my videos I have some showing how I glitter them and there's one video that is a start to finish. That video is of a nursing scrub top acrylic.

I would use a plastic zip tie instead of pipe cleaner. Nice video 👍🏻

Excellent video! Just what I was looking for. Are you using the 3" acrylics ? and could you use small zip ties instead of the pipe cleaner?

Yay! Glad it helped! I do often use 3 inch acrylics, sometimes 2inch or 2.5 if available. As for zip tie that sounds like a neat idea to try. Not sure if it would easily slide up when pulling on your ribbons to fluff them. Worth a try, though, if that's what you have on hand. Please update me if you try it out! Thanks!

Do you take special orders for acrylic bag tags to go on a tassel?

@vickietaylor5560 I do...but not for the acrylic shape itself. Currently I just use shapes that I can order with files to do my vinyl cuts for them and create the color combos the customers want. Once I get my own laser cutter up and running and learn how to use, I'll be able to create some of my own acrylic shapes
