Yay! I just took my fan out of storage, and couldn't remember which way to turn it to adjust the height. It was stuck, and I didn't want to take the chance of making it even tighter by turning it the wrong way. No worries, Tom Leeman to the rescue!. It's up and running right now. TY! : ) PS - I've had this fan for several years, and I also have their table fan. Love them both.

Love the instructions man, but I think I got screwed because my extension pipe is bent at the end in a way that it won't fit in either the head assembly or the height adjustment nut except on one end.

You may not have the fan blade on correctly if it’s shaking check that make sure it’s tightened down and that the color behind it is tightened down. Good luck thanks for watching.

My son tried putting it together for me but I think he threw the blade mount seat by accident. What can I use in place of that bracket to keep the blade from flying out??

You would need something that could screw onto that to hold the blade and and it has to go. I think counterclockwise might have to buy a new fan.

wow they don't make them like they used to, our 12 year old Lasko pedestal feels like a tank in comparison but it also has a metal grill, recently bought this new model and was shocked how light it is, plastic grill and all, but oh well I guess it works although it does have a bit of a shimmy / shake at the lowest speed, our old one is completely balanced on low.

When you wanna put it together, start with the base, put the motor on the pedestal post, insert in the base, then put the back on to the motor housing and twist it to lock it in, then put the collar on, next slide the fan on, and then put the front piece on and snapping in. I am done.
