hi peter. i have seen all of your 31/31 videos of how to disassemble engine vvti toyota. and now im on the assemble part 9. i wanted to thank you for this videos and for passing your knowledge to the viewers. it has helped me a lot as a beginner mechanic. but i have a question.... WHERE CAN I BUY A TOYOTA VVTI ENGINES WORKSHOP MANUAL? like the engine for the 2000-2005 toyota celica.. because i am planing on geting a used toyota celica thats in good condition from year 2000-2005. and i need to know lots of information about this vvti engine.. because im planing to do a bore and hone to the cylinders and crankshaft and the journals of the main bearings. so that it can all be perfectly measured to -0.25mm. and im also planing to install racing pistons and both racing rod and main bearings adapted to the new -0.25mm size. and i need to know toyotas measuring laws and gaps for instalation of all the parts, the torque and so on.. the reason why i am planing on all this is because im going to install a turbocharger.. and i want to make sure that the engine runs like new for that task. check out this page about toyota parts.. www.monkeywrenchracing.com im buying my turbo from them.. i will continue to watch your videos.

Jose Perez Hello and Thanks. You could find VVT-i engine workshop manual from some Toyota repair technician. They also use CD discs. And Sorry, but I don't have this VVT-i manual.

Would you replace crankshaft bearings if they had shiny/polished spots? Not worn through the aluminum, but enough to where you can't see the machine lines anymore.

Hi, @24.00 the thust washer bearings. on my 3zzfe the thrust washer bearings have fallen out and where in the sump. any idea how this has happened? 52k miles on engine. i have ordered an new set and watching your video i think i can slip them both in how you did with the second one. thanks.
