Hello, I tried to install using the spacer you provided, however, I think the Disk is touching the optical module. I had to use another spacer to allow more space between the optical module and the disk. Am I doing something wrong? I have this encoder: E3-500-375-NE-E-D-3

Sorry for the late response. The standard spacer we provide should place the disk very close to the top side of the sensor module (by design). The correct gap between the disk and the sensor should be approx. 0.010". If that's not what you're seeing, please let us know.
