Did you possibly go the wrong way with the ratio??? Seems to me from working with cement in other applications that the cement weight would be on the heavy end. This should come out more as a past than a thin paint I would think.

That is a very good possibility. It would most likely work better if the ratio were reversed.

@@HowToVideoChannel Yep...you read it right..."cement to tap water in a ratio of 10 to 3". 10 parts cement to 3 parts tap water.

You can buy a bag of Portland and use that. It will probably work a lot better than the bag they would have included.
