So how is the inside then prepared and decorated normally? Can one of these be placed on a concrete pad? Is there any kind of inner sealer or felt to keep bugs out?

1. After assembling the yurt, you can move furniture inside. 2. You can place wooden or concrete pad as floor. Just make sure it fits inside the yurt and doesn't interfere with the wall placement. Otherwise, you have to connect the pad with the wall which eliminates its ease of assembly. 3. Yes, and modern nomadic people are starting to use fishnet seals to prevent bugs without interfering the circulation of air.

If one were to not have a cart to carry their yurt on, would they have to disassemble and reassemble it every time they’d like to stop for the night? Is a yurt required if traveling on one’s own?
