How to assign MIDI Controller to MainStage & Instruments

Hi! Thanks for this tutorial. I have a question though, my midi controller is arturia keylab essential 61. Every time I try to assign my faders, it automatically assigns as pitch bend. Do you have any idea how to troubleshoot this? I’ve been looking for how to NOT let it automatically map as pitch bend, but I can’t seem to figure it out. Your answer will be of great help. Thanks!

Not super familiar with Arturia controllers personally, but in MainStage you can remove all mappings from those faders. I would start there and then reassign

I'm having the same problem here with my M-Audio Code 61. I just wanna assign each instrument to its own fader so I can comfortably perform live by being able to control them through the faders.

Brendan, thanks for your comment. Do you mean like turning on specific patches or sounds? I would recommend creating a "button layout" in MainStage similar to how the buttons are laid out on your particular keyboard. If your keyboard is connected, you can use the "Layout" menu in MainStage to assign those in the same way up and down buttons are assigned

You add in those faders by dragging “Screen Control Panels” from that bottom bar in mainstage
