Kind of surprising how rare this information is to find. This was particularly useful for helping me figure out what to use with my Yamaha AC1. Is there any ergonomic difference between attaching the strap at the headstock versus via a strap pin installed at the base of the neck?

Did he say "strap in" or "strap on"?

Thank you, but sadly this doesn’t help my case. My guitar doesn’t have any holes to snap onto.

If strap jack has been plugged into Jack then How I can plug amplifier cable please let me know because I never used strap before?
@HubGuitar4 жыл бұрын
You cannot use a strap jack with an amplifier. But you can just plug in a 1/4" cable instead, which may help keep the strap in place.

That leather loop is the best solution to me. Where did you buy it?

Pretty much any music store but alot of people I know say that the loop is unattractive

Dear Hub Guitar, nice video, very helpful, thank you. BTW, what is the accessory on your guitar that looks like a padded elbow rest? Does it stop the arm from slipping...? Can you kindly name the item and let me have a serial number or something? Thanks alot!
@HubGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It's the Abel Armrest, it's not cheap but I found it to be wonderful for reducing tension on the arm. I don't use it in the winter though - it adds a step to putting the guitar back in the case.

Is that strap the long or short length

I personally don't think its attractive to have a strap on the headstock of the guitar so I always buy a strap button to add to all 72 of my guitars

My problem is that the hole that is cut into the leather strap end is too small and tight to even get it over the jack pin. The holes that are cut in most straps seem to be a pretty standard size, so I guess I will have to cut the hole to a larger diameter
@HubGuitar2 жыл бұрын
This is quite common, because leather stretches. Try to use something to ream it a little bit larger.

On the guitars lower bout, if there isn’t even an end pin, you’d have to install a strap button.
