You can do it with one crane. Put the frame on the body of the crane truck where it can be attached to the crane. Rotate the crane until you can connect, connect it, then disconnect it. It's now perfectly positioned so you can turn as much as you need to put the other weights on. Place the weights where they go (one at a time to be safe) and then rotate back around to attach. Detach the frame again before adding more weights. This method did work for me, but was a little more time consuming. It'll save a ton of money though

Yes . It is possible . I did try it later but I lost patience with it 😂 You also can just put them on in the store and skip all the frustration 😋 Thanks for sharing

So if you look at real cranes what they do it use the flat part of there body to assemble the weights spin the cab round and attach from that point so only need one Crane

Hello just wanted to give an update that this method was just tested and I’ve found it works. By spinning the counterweight tray 180 degrees and disconnect between turntable cabin & Front cab on the chassis, you can pick the 7T base weights w/ hook and set them on the tray. Just have spin back around and connect the counterweight tray then instantly hook up the weight, they get a pittle shaky sometimes before you get a chance to connect them. Hope it helps

if you place the weights on the holder on the ground you can pick it up and place it on the crane and then turn the cabin and stuff around you can attach it so you only need 1 crane

Great question ! IMO it is more of a novelty mod but you can use it for some logging situations and of course Roleplay 😋

Logging and also vehicle recovery for sure. If you accidentally drive your logging semi off of a bridge or cliff and even into the water, you should be able to recover it with this. The hook has tension belt straps without any attachments
