I've repaired two of these for my Wife's friends. It's a lovely piece of equipment and I get deep joy from giving them a new lease of life. (I've just done a third)

I've just bought a 1970's 901 like yours. Can't wait to use it. Your video is very informative. Love this slicer grater, I'm definitely getting one. I'll be watching more of your videos. Keep up the great work.

I was given a Major with a burnt out motor and replced the armature for about £12 way back. Use the bean slicer every year for slicing runner beans. So easy and quick. Have this grater attachment too. Kenwoods make great pastry too.

Rose, my computer had a slight hiccup, so if you get 2 of these comments feel free to delete one. I really liked this video. I was first impressed with your Kenwood when I watched the meat mincer video, but seeing how easy it did the cheese and those beautifully sliced onions were great. Looks like it would be easier to clean than having to deal with a food processor for grating cheese. They should have you demonstrating products, because you do it with ease. Cheers Larry

Aww Larry that is such a lovely comment. I usually bring out Kenny and do a bulk grate of cheese and put in the fridge for the week and also make bulk soup to freeze so slicing veg etc is a breeze and it comes out in uniform shape and size so cooks evenly. Your comment sure made me smile :) If there was a paid job to demonstrate I would for sure do it as I have no problem in believing in the product which I guess is essential when selling something :) xo

Hi I think its the A702I own and collected all the attachments over a few years, even got my hands on the rare metal coffee grinder and the fruit seed separator seve and it still has its mesh ribbon unused, I never new so many attachments were available, and some attachments from other models will fit as long as you find the correct attachment great machines but the grease needs checking as it can get pushed away from the gears and dry little , Just never got my self the wheat grinder the seller were asking to much, The cream maker attachments squirts like a cows teat are comical and not had one make cream yet

I tried my red onion on both the slicers but it ended up mushy and didn’t come out of the barrel at all. Any suggestions to make it slice?

Wow. So good to see a tool that just keeps doing its job. My grandson has a great respect for items that are over 20 years old. He says the fact that people keep them is a testimony to how good they were made, and how we took care of them.
