Guys! I found a really interesting line after Nc5 in 3:36 . If Bxc5 bxc5 Qxb7, Na5 traps the queen. Therefore, after Bxc5 bxc5, Nd5! (If exd5 Qxb7 Na5 no longer traps the queen. Eval bar gives -0.9 in a low depth of 20) Best response to Nd5 is Nd4 Rxd4! cxd4 Qxb7 exd5. Eval bar gives -0.8 in 20 depth. Position is unclear for human, Black has a rook for a knight but a triple stacked pawn weakness.

Check the other comments. There's Na5 after b captures and ...Qxb2 Agadmator usually analyses these games with an engine. If someone makes a mistake, he will mention it during the analysis.

I don't understand - at 3:34 = white bishop at E3 x C5 - if D6 takes the bishop, dead queen. if B6 takes the bishop, dead bishop on B2. Neither takes, B6 taken by the white bishop, threatens black queen.

I would love to know how black would continue at 3:40 if white captures knight on c5 with bishop on e3. If black recaptuers with pawn on d6 you lose your queen to a rook, and if black recaptuers with b6 you lose a bishop on b7. Looks like a free piece.

Kinda funny and sad how untrue that chess quote is. Prime example is Paul Morphy. Just learned chess by watching people play and proceeded to kick peoples dicks in without trying. Its all luck with genetics and early childhood care. By around age 4 your potential is pretty much decided. I mean you can always work hard and achieve some stuff, but not everyone can be a chess GM.

My guess is the queen gets trapped, so Bxc5, bxc5, Qxb7, Na5 now you have no safe squares to go to. It would be a Queen for a rook and bishop which is still playable i suppose

This line with 5.Nb5 was quite popular in the 1980s, featuring standard Maroczy vs Hedgehog positions. The matches Karpov - Kasparov saw this structure quite a few times, though not exactly through this move order. If you are a fan of the Taimanov you might be interested in a somewhat newer approach for Black after 12.Qb3, which is 12...Ne5, counter attacking e4 :)
