If you receive "error undefined value used in expression" when trying to make the text adjust to the smallest value, this appears to be an issue with javascript, and will work fine if you change the expressions engine to legacy (can be changed in the project settings)

One question, sorry if I missed it... when I add a comma or some other special characters, it expands the box but I'd rather keep the box the same size and just have the comma cut off slightly (for templating purposes). Is there a way to do that?

I worked around it for now by placing a matte over each text background, but expressions make life easier so I'll take anything at this point. You rock as always.

Hi! Great stuff! Do you know if there is a way do access the bounding box of the textlayer, and make that adjust to the "this is where you type text"-box, rather than manipulating the scale values of the entire text layer? Your tutorial works perfectly but Im trying to connect the text and text style to be controlled by a JSON-file. i.e. what text that shows in the box, what font it is and the actual font size and so on. The code I use (below) works with the JSON and I can set the different properties via JSON. But when I use your Scale code for the entire Text layer, everything still works EXCEPT the font size.
