Pro tip if you have a group: Get a wifi hotspot (I use ninja wifi) and bring a battery bank. Keep the hotspot in your bag, on, and attached to the battery and you'll have wifi for your whole group all day. Extra tip: Sumimasen is important in restaurants, too. Servers in Japan won't bother you like they do in the west, so use sumimasen to get their attention when you need something.

Howzit is pidgin language from Hawai’i. Hand gesture is the Shaka from hawaii

@@Howzit_japan Oh awesome! I imagine 'howzit' has independently formed in a lot of english-speaking places, and the hand gesture is from the surfing scene here and is likely imported from Hawai'i so a fascinating bit of culture :D
