I avoid burnouts with meditation. For the first 20 mins of my day and the last 20 mins of my day I sit down in a designated spot, focus on my breathing and watch my thoughts. I've been doing it for 4 years and the effects of it have been amazing. I overcame ADHD, switched up my diet and became clear on my purpose in life. Great video Brendon.

berryfairy68 Hello! When I began meditating it was like I over time I naturally began to resonate with eating more nutrient rich food, which then gave me more energy. From meditation I was able to focus naturally and get rid of taking adderall for good. Then from that point I began to find out more about who I am in the sense of what my purpose is in life and began to feel a desire to pursue that in the form of creating videos and content. All in all it was like meditation fueled all the others and made the transition easier. :) Much Love!

+Aaron Doughty Getting into meditation, and making it a part of your schedule can be tough, over the past couple of years I have tried many times and failed. But I indeed do know that this would work, and this would also be my preferred method, because it is just so good to have a waking moment with yourself and just yourself.

Been doing the same (and trying to stay consistent) and this has truly been helpful. Soooo much amazing research out there about the impact that a daily meditation practice can have on your life and your levels of stress.

Brendon, I am still studying at an university. How can I say "no" to the projects they want me to do? How can I sleep more if I have too many projects to do right now? I am not coping with all the responsibilities I have right now. But I know I need to have them in order to graduate university. How can I ask for help if I am not around supportive people?

Is it preferred to get 7-8 hrs of sleep straight, will there be any difference in cognitive benefits if i get 7 hrs of sleep a day but spread into say a 4 hr sleep followed by a 3 hr nap later? Can multiple naps be equally effective as sleep (longer nap period)?
@augustusself81198 жыл бұрын
+qbTOXINdp It is possible. There are sleep patterns like polyphasic sleep, which is used by sailors to take on the stressful schedule. I did hear that it is extremely tough to switch into these type of sleep cycles.

Omar Rafei, fatigue goes away after a good sleep. Burnout can last weeks, months, or years.

Is meditation a good alternative to sleep? I mean I just sleep 6-7 hours a day.
@sznitzeln8 жыл бұрын
+Suvrath Hegde I speak only from my own experience of attending a 10-day Vipassana session. I remember sleeping about 6 hours a day and meditating for a large part of the day. When getting up very early in the morning I felt super-sleepy but after first two hours of meditation (which was almost like half-meditation half-sleep) I felt fully rested. So at least when very sleepy, I think meditating 2 hours can have comparable effect to sleeping 2 hours more. So I recommend just try it, or google for papers about this.
