The scariest part of selling on ebay is you can sell a brand new shoe for 2k & the buyer can say they received a used beat up pair but meanwhile they already had that pair & Ebay gives them a free label to ship them back to you & they have the new shoes plus they get all their money back & they will even hold you responsible for shipping both ways...I cant believe that ppl c po u lil d do that all the time & ebay will backup the buyer...Its very scary & unfortunately I already had it happen to me twice & I think it's the most important part to address when it comes to selling on ebay...As far as I know the seller has 0 protection in those situations & a seller can lose outrageous amounts of $$..I'm really surprised you didnt discuss this situation on this video cuz itz different then sending rocks cuz the name of the shoe will b on the listing & whn they get the new pair they take pics of their old beat up pair & say that's what you sent them & they send them back....Please address this issue cuz I would love to know of a way to try & protect against that if there is a way...Thx bro keep up the Great work !! This happened to me about 3 weeks ago but I called eBay and they sent me an email that I hap to print out and it was a form stating that everything you said is truth and described what you received, and then you have to take a picture and send it to them. Next day I received an email saying that the buyer got the full refund but I also get to keep the money, so eBay took the hit on that one

What you need to do is get some invisible ink, mark up ya shit and get some UV light to see them. If they don't have the mark on the returned shoes than it's obviously not yours or u can use a qr code sticker. Send ebay the pic of the shoes u sent with the mark and you gucci.

Photograph everything before you send it. Include a note with your username and today's date, like maybe your cellphone in the camera, so there is a visible timestamp. It's extra, but I would even take video showing the condition of the item, then boxing it up, sealing it shut, and applying the shipping label. If they try something like this, you have proof that you sent the correct merchandise. It's alot to go through, but this is the cost of doing business in a situation like sneakers where ppl love to scam.

Worst thing that happened on eBay for me was buying a pair of lightly used geode V2's for under retail. Dude had solid ratings. No shipping confirmation for a near week, messaged the dude multiple times. Finally responds and says "sorry Brodie, sold that pair months ago. Idk why the listing is still up". I remained respectful and said I understood and asked for a cancellation. They never did, so I had to get PayPal involved and they went to war real quick and secured that full refund. People out here finessing, but luckily eBay and PayPal are armed n ready

Wish I saw this before I started selling on eBay. Drove into NYC bc I won on a raffle for the 700 V3 in SoHo. Held them for a month and decided to put them on eBay. Got the bozozs lowballing ode and then I had a guy hit me up on the app and gave me his number talked to him for a little bit and eventually he “sent” me $490 for them and I shipped them overnight.
