How to avoid FAKE photocards on Mercari Japan (and other online platforms)

Thank you for posting this, I fell victim to buying one fake photocard and I asked Reddit to help me and they said the pc was a bit zoomed in. So I hope this helps me to be more cautious.

Ugh... when I tell you, the level of panic this video just threw me into 😄 I collect three of the most expensive members of NCT, so I've sadly spent far more money on photocards than any rational human should ever... but one card in particular I spent a stupid amount on because it's incredibly rare and immediately had to go check it for the signs you pointed out... annnnd it has VERY rounded corners and no cut tab thingy's. 😳😳😳 BUT then I put it against another member's card of the same line that I know is real because it was my pull and they matched. 🥴 oy vay! lol IF it's a fake, it's perfectly done. I wonder how many fakes I've bought though... I've purchased quite a lot on Buyee, so odds are totally not in my favor. 🤦‍♀️😭

not to worry, there’s also a lot of legit things on buyee aha ☺️ a lot of these ‘signs’ also depend on the group & era so if it matches up with what you pulled yourself then im sure it’s alright! if you can’t really tell once you have them on hand then usually you’re fine ^^

I saw that the last person is selling aespa photocards and it has US exclusive photocards. They were selling a set of 8 pcs and aespa photocards are quite expensive. Especially Karina and Winter, those pcs usually get sold for $10-14 USD per pc especially for the new album. So that's a red flag.

Oh no it didn’t do enough research because it’s my first time buying and it’s my all time favorite Pc and it cost a lot my most expensive pc it’s like nearly 200$ usd and after a week I bought it, the seller upload the same Pc and selling it 😭 it’s supposed to be a rare Pc so I think I really got scammed this time I’m so heart broken
