1) It was narrated that Ma’qil ibn Yassaar said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” Narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, 486. Shaykh al-Albaani said in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5045, that this hadeeth is saheeh. 2) It was narrated that Umaymah the daughter of Raqeeqah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “I do not shake hands with women.” Narrated by al-Nasaa’i (4181) and Ibn Maajah, 2874; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2513

@@aafreenjahan3074 it is not correct/not permissible to wish someone happy birthday or happy diwali or any non muslim festival. There are three reasons: 1) Muslims don’t associate themselves with anything that non muslims celebrate. (It is also mentioned in Hadeeth). We have distinguished ourselves from them. The people on the truth of Islam stand out differently in the world bcz we follow Quran and Sunnah. 2) It is the duty of every Muslim to convey the truth of Islam to anyone they meet, especially non muslims. You should try to let them hear and know from you what Islam truly is, slowly whichever ways you can convey. Through Akhlaq (character) - your words and action. 3) wishing anyone other than two Eid, is encouraging them on Kufr as Muslims, which also doubts our faith and can take us out of Islam. Why? Bcz their festival is associated with worshipping idols and associating partners with Allāh, Na’udhubillah, which is not allowed in Islam and it is against the law of Tawheed on which Muslim stands by saying Shahadah (that we worship Allah alone and only He is worthy of worship and the dominance of Heaven and Earth belongs to Him). Hence as a Muslim you should be careful on not wishing on festivals bcz instead of telling them of Islam, you have rather encouraged them on kufr and that is wrong. Hopefully this helps

At Tawbah 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled. At Tawbah 9:111 Allah has indeed purchased from the believers their lives and wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill or are killed. This is a true promise binding on Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And whose promise is truer than Allah’s? So rejoice in the exchange you have made with Him. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph. Al Anafal 8:39 Fight against them until there is no more persecution-and ˹your˺ devotion will be entirely to Allah. But if they desist, then surely Allah is All-Seeing of what they do. Yunus 10:99 Had your Lord so willed ˹O Prophet˺, all ˹people˺ on earth would have certainly believed, every single one of them! Would you then force people to become believers? Al Baqarah 2:171 The example of the disbelievers ˹not responding to the Messenger’s warning˺ is like a flock not comprehending the calls and cries of the shepherd. ˹They are wilfully˺ deaf, dumb and blind so they have no understanding. Al Bayyinah 98:6 Indeed, those who disbelieve from the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell, to stay there forever. They are the worst of ˹all˺ beings. Al Fath 48:6 Also ˹so that˺ He may punish hypocrite men and women and polytheistic men and women, who harbour evil thoughts of Allah. May ill-fate befall them! Allah is displeased with them. He has condemned them and prepared for them Hell. What an evil destination! At Tawbah 9:5 But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Hud 11:109 So do not be in doubt ˹O Prophet˺ about what those ˹pagans˺ worship. They worship nothing except what their forefathers worshipped before ˹them˺. And We will certainly give them their share ˹of punishment˺ in full, without any reduction. At Tawbah 9:3 A declaration from Allah and His Messenger ˹is made˺ to all people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah and His Messenger are free of the polytheists. So if you ˹pagans˺ repent, it will be better for you. But if you turn away, then know that you will have no escape from Allah. And give good news ˹O Prophet˺ to the disbelievers of a painful punishment.

Al-Hujurat - The Apartments - 49:13 (Sura: 49, Verse: 13) "O men, We created you from a male and female, and formed you into nations and tribes that you may recognise each other. I stopped shaking hands with non mahrams since my school days like from 15 yrs... I took that from one of my seniors... But during some of my competitions and prize givings, I couldn't do it instantly to the opposite person and I have ended up shaking few times...felt so guilty after that.... Literally this is what I've been thinking about recently. Thanks for making video on it sister. I had never encountered such situations until yesterday when just like u I was hanging around with my female friend and 2 guys she knows extended their hands towards me. Awesome tricks... 😃 It's somewhat easy to avoid handshakes with nonmuslim men, But it's very difficult and awkward to avoid them with nonmahram relatives.... I really can't explain to them. They are nonpracticing Muslims and they think it's "extreme"..

Asalamu Alikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Baraqatuh I saw this post on Pinterest but it was basically saying how a British guy came to ask a Sheikh a few questions about Islam. One if the questions were related to why Muslim women don’t shake hands with men. and the sheikh replied with something along the words, “ do you go up to the Queen to shake her hand?” And the answer was no, because not anyone can come so close to the Queen, she even wears gloves. This concept basically emphasises the value of a Muslim women revealing that not anyone can touch her and not anyone can be close to her especially men.

I advise you not to say “sorry” to any human when they invite you to do something ALLAH Forbade and you choose to follow the Command of ALLAH. A Muslim is strong, ma shaa’ ALLAH. Actually it is an opportunity to give good advice to people when they invite you to do something wrong (maybe they don’t know certain things or have forgotten). الله أَعْلَم

Nope brother, men and women can't be friends and couldn't be hanging out together. We should make friendships only with the people of our gender... For example, if you ask your mixed gender friends, frankly about their relationship with other gender, he/she would definitely be in guilt. Even though the people say , " we're not just more than friends " , there the 'evil bloody shaytaan' comes into play... he uses the opportunity to slowly build immoral relationships between those. "ALLAH" knows the best.
