How To Avoid Honda Vezel Gear Problem ?

Its a beautiful and powerful vehicle packed with a lot of features, manufactured ahead of its time since 2013, which a lot of people misunderstood for its regular maintenance like any other dct vehicle. Would buy this vehicle over and over again :D maintenance advice as under abdi bhai. Use the correct quantity of Trans oil DW1 Ultra for RU3 and RU4 vezels, flush both actuator fluid(dot 3) and trans oil after every 40K-50k km interval, inspect and regrease (Hi temp specialised aircraft standard heat withstanding grease) grease the bearings after every 80k-100k kms. Engine oil: 0w-20/30 fully synthetic Abdi bhai already mentioned the rest given to transmission after every continuous 250 kms and sports mode for hilly terrains( but dont push it unneccescirly) Set AC temp to 26C during summers, otherwise minimize the use, it helps to relieve the vehicles's engine and gear strain in Pakistan's weather conditions Utilise brake hold in trafffic jams , helps reduce strain on dct lastly i.e. natural driving sense for driving a hybrid DCT Kind Regards, Honda Vezel 2014 AWD

Honda Vezel Family here.. My father has 2015 model for almost 8 Years. No Issue at all alhamdu Lillah. had driven 700+ KM Continues Driving.. I Have 2018 Model. went to Hilly areas without any Issue.. I think if u Proper maintain it by Changing Clutch DOT-4 oil & Gear Oil on time, there is no issue... Greetings from India 🇮🇳 my dear friend. As rightly pointed out by you Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) is high maintenance. It's smooth and all. But DCT can't cope with the harsh weather and dust of the Indian subcontinent. I prefer a Torque Converter Transmission to the DCT or even the CVT. I'm not a big fan of the AMT as well. Although I prefer a manual transmission anytime. Regards and best wishes always. Cheers

Use genuine fluids of brake oil, gear oil, clutch oil and change them timely... Also put gear in neutral when stop in the traffic.....and any kind of pressure on the gear will result in gear failure

Sports mode will end up heating the gear, although never driven DCT but in CVT temperatures rise as u move into sports mode and driving with sports mode on, in mountains can put extra stress on the gear eventually heating it up which we dont want. You can disagree thats how the system works. Clutch control bearing assembly the main culprit of vezel in Pakistan and the only solution is to change the oil of the assembly and gear at around 20k kms (dot4) &(ATF dw1 ultra) at max which can help to increase the life of gear, as our temperatures are very high in summers and driving habits are different which causes the oil to degrade fast. Dot 4 every 20k kms and ATF DW1 ultra.i guess old honda that had prosmetec transmission had the same oil. Better to use the local one and you are good to go.

80 lakh bhi lagayein aur ye sb problems bhi bear krein I think local hrv (the new one) is better option If someone doesn’t want to move to Chinese manufacturers

We were just about to buy this car, we visited a car which was totally genuine and very less driven and it was in really good condition, when me and my father returned home we had a talk and we realized this gear problem comes and after 3 days we were leaving for Lahore (from Karachi) and we thought this can disturb and ruin the whole trip so we didnt buy Honda vezel, I loved the performance of this car and the interior and the comfort but only this issue made us reject the car! Although its a beautiful machine

Bhai app na wrong information di haye .. Honda vezel mai clutch oil b change hota ha. Dot 4 use hota ha.. Gare problem clutch oil change na kerne ki waja sa ati ha.. Loction air filter k nichaye 2 botels hoti hain.😊
