I got an IP complaint on a product that I sell thousands of. I bought these items from a large authorized distributor and my invoices were not enough. It turned out that one of the listings that I had this product on had one word misspelled which flagged the listing. I had to get the brand owner from a very large brand to send an email stating that I could still sell the item on the other good listings. Even with the email and the invoices it still took 3 tries to get in the clear. When you get an IP issue you really have to hussle hard to take care of it.

I heard if you don't use wholesale products with real invoices you could in to trouble for selling on Amazon. I buy a lot off of eBay. Has this ever happened to you when unauthentic claim happens? I'm just kind of freaking out.

Hey there! Great video! What is the best way to deal with an IP complaint? Just got one from what I believe to be from the brand owner. I found some protein powder at my local Ollies and bought around 140 units and decided to sell in two packs and sold about half of them until I saw that the listing was marked, Inactive (blocked). This was included in the email from Amazon "Rights owner communication: --We purchased this product and confirmed it is not authentic, nor is the seller authorized to distribute our products." Any insight would be highly regarded! I have all receipts, an email from Ollies to confirm that it poses no health risk as there an expiration stamped on the bottle and another expiration on a label over the stamped one from manufacturer, as well as photos of the unit.

My supplier sold me a product for which he had no authorisation but he charged my VAT in his invoice . Now actual brand owner has complained to Amazon and I am facing IP complaint. AMAZON has asked me to communicate the complainant but not providing any contact number . What should I do to get rid of this IP COMPLAINT?

Thank you for the video, Lately i got an IP complaint and i had all the documentation but, due to being banned from the website i had to create an account in my fiances name and order from his account. That created an issue obviously with amazon because the order info did not match my seller account he is my sales manager etc. and works with me in my business but, I had to accept the claim because they wouldnt accept that documentation what do you suggest in a situation like this?? Where one of your main income streams for a unit is cut off by the website and you have to create a new account? Can i explain this to amazon or will i have to just accept the violation any suggestions or advice?

Useful, but what if youre a brand, selling your own products. I feel there many more ways than just buying IP Alert? Perhaps the title should be How to Avoid IP Complaints & Suspensions Selling on Amazon FBA With IP Alert. Cheers.
