My character is a british physicist in the 1920s and she's oblivious to the art aspect but super interested in the technical aspects. Like recently a new method for coating materials was invented and maybe she could learn something about the way this cow was coated in gold...

My backstory: I bought this golden bull when I was on vacation in Barcelona. Bullfighting in Spain was such a social event at one time. Barcelona is also the home of Picasso. I wanted a souvenir of my time spent in Spain. The bull represented everything that I would remember from my trip. I had taken a tour of a bull ring. I toured some of the art museums and the patterns on the bull reminded me of some of the impressionist painting I saw there. The colors, patterns, flowers, and spirals attracted me to this piece and I bought it as a reminder of my days in that country.

The back story I made was that a grandmother had just died in a family. She told the character about people how were coming to get the golden bull but this bull was ancient and had powers with it. So the character had to go and search her grandmothers house to find the bull before the other people do so this invloves the part where a cast member could hide the object so that the actor is actually looking for it.

Louise Xo this is absolutely excellent! I would recommend trying an improvisation like that now looking for the object and see if the background information helps it seem more real to you

my little story was that of a sculptor who was gifted that golden bull figure by their parents years ago, and it set them on the path to be where they are in their artistic career right now. one day the bull is misplaced in a traveling trip to a business opportunity and they have to find it before their plane takes off or they’ll lose the opportunity!

Okay so the backstory I made up: I'm imagining a girl maybe roughly highschool age, and for art class they're learning about the modernism movement and the teacher assigns a project where they have to find an object from that period and have to draw it out. this girl goes to the museum and like looks at all the things, but she becomes fixated on this bull because y'know she's a teenage girl she doesn't care /that/ much about art class but she still wants a good enough grade and so as she's going through this museum, she sees this bull. The colour scheme is rather simple: blue, brown, red, grey, white and black with the bull's core colour being gold. The motifs on this bull are repeated throughout. The pattern with the circles in circles, and spirals. Also, the texture is pretty smooth but not super reflective so the shading should be rather easy to achieve. All in all, she decides to pick this bull for the project.
