3:10 minute in and I realized that the expensive price of the bus ticket might be the scam. $10 for a bus ride is definitely expensive, it’s only $3 Canadian dollars in Canada for a bus ride. But Okinawa is literally a top tourist destination spot, some things are bound to be expensive.

Literally everything else is affordable in Okinawa. Even cars are super cheap. Just the bus. The longer you ride. The more it costs. I'm in Tokyo right now. Going to try to hitch hike again at the end of the month.

@@FreeJapanGuide wow then it definitely sounds like a scam since car rides should be more expensive than a bus. How is Tokyo?
