When you're not moving towards God, you're moving away from God. - Sandals Church Guys try to make a name for themselves to get approval from their earthly dad, when they already have a name from their heavenly father. - Sandals Church You want to be happy? Don't listen to wicked people. Wicked people don't listen to God. - sandals church Whatever consumes your mind is consuming you. - sandals church Remember, in the end, God always wins. - sandals church My list is stupid and God's list is amazing. God's list doesn't change. Further and further away from God. - sandals church Genesis can be described as this: God says, I've created a land for you, it's called the promised land, and mankind continually says no, and they go their own way, and they face their consequences. - sandals church Some of you are missing out on God's best for you because you settled. Never settle for anything less than what God wants. - sandals church You don't know you settled. Some of you are trying to convince yourself, Look, it's the garden of eden, look at all these rocks! Never ever settle for less than what God wants. Where does God put you? Where you're supposed to be. - sandals church Work was a blessing from God. In the garden of eden, there was work, but it was the right kind of work. But you've got to be careful that you work for the right things, that you work in the garden that God has for you, not the building that someone else has put in front of your face. - sandals church In Jeremiah 29:11, God basically says, if you just listen to me, I'm going to bless your life. And you're like, No! I'm going to migrate east and build a big tower for myself. - sandals church If you're going to try to go your own way, you lose. If you go God's way, you're blessed. - sandals church Isn't it amazing how quickly our kids are drawn to babel? We build a big city in the desert and at least we're honest, we don't call it babel, we call it Sin City. - sandals church God doesn't want to ruin your life, you do that on your own. God wants to bless your life, God wants to give you a future and hope. - sandals church Because of sin, we feel like we're not valued, were not important, unless if a lot of people have heard of us. Famous people have likes on Instagram. Faithful people have love from God. People search out millions of likes when a you need is love from God. You need people who know sometimes you're lame, and they love you anyways. Famous people have a platform. Faithful people have a purpose. Meaning helps us endure suffering. And when life is meaningless, we don't know how to make it The only person you need to be known by is God.
