Yo, I'm watching here in/from LA with a 92 Dodge Stealth RT/TT. I wouldn't worry too much about the negatives but just be yourselves and do the best you can. I know, I've spent a pretty portion of my life under my Mit. Montero and the Stealth. Just love these rare cars although its not easy to keep them at 100% but we dont have to. We have fun with them and getting under it and getting dirty its all part of the fun. First time here so you guys just got a new subscriber. All i can say to close is keep it up and be safe.

Ik this is an old video, but it really helped me out when doing my aws delete! In particular, where to plug the lines on the rack as well as plugging the ports on the PS reservoir. Thanks.

Does anyone know if you can just plug the rack to effectively disable the RWS but still leave the system in place, please? I'm assuming the rear pump won't let the rear wheels flap around steering freely, but not sure if it causes issues by not being under pressure. It'll be a handy fix if the lines burst and it's your every day car.

John Galt if you plug the rack it deletes it. But the whole point of deleting it is for weight reduction

Whats the long term goal to doing this? Will it not handle a certain amount of power or does it ultimately break and is cheaper to delete than to fix?

Cheaper to delete the aws than fix, parts for the aws are little to none. The delete just takes the all wheel steer away, its replacing a steering rack with 2 toe arms.

Reliability and longevity is preferable to any advantages offered by the rear steer-which are negligible.

So just as a temporary fix. Should I just loop the hose at the power steering pump and see if I delete it or fix it later?
