Perfect dude! I was trying this trick last weekend and i couldnt figure it out with the rope tension. I was thinking about asking you for a backside 360 video in your last how to video but you did it anyway! Thanks :)

Thanks bro. Was watching very very carefully, done the slow mo of you trick and rewatched many times. Managed to land very clean on my second attempt! However still not stable and still crash from subsequent attempt 50% of time. Will continue nailing it. In fact much more difficult than HS FS 360....

Just try again and again, you will eventually do it easy

Hi JB! I've just started wakeboarding for a couple months and love all your videos. If possible, could you make a video explaining the theory of edging, the relation between edging and tension of the rope while hitting a kicker or sliding on the rail or table top. Thanks
@jboneill5 жыл бұрын
yeah I can try and do something like that :)

I learned the toeback 3 before this one and the first time I attempted the heelback 3 I SPINNED LIKE A DOGGAMN WASHING MACHINE! But yeah, it’s easier than a toeback 3 and I ADORE the feeling of the tension on this one. Also, I think it’s easier to do a heelback 3 rather than a heelback 180, where the tension is really tricky to find to « stop » spinning. Great video as always!

great tutorial! landed this trick 3rd try after this great vid, but sometimes i cant stay horizontal if you know what i mean (sorry for my bad english) tho :P) i start to rotate to one side so i cant land. any tips to stay horizontal during this trick? keep it up!
@jboneill5 жыл бұрын
sometimes if you spin too early the kicker will kick you off axis. its okay to handlepass early, but really try to wait before you rotate :)

one tip I can add that helped me a lot is to pay attention to the shoulder. While or a split second after pulling the handle to get it behind my back I push forward(and down) my shoulder a bit. So: edging, flattening of before the kicker, pull in direction of my back pocket/hip, throwing head and also pushing with the shoulder, handle pass behind the hip, look for the landing, bring the board into position for landing and the handle to your front hip. Claim the trick! Done :D
