Thank you for the tips! Here is my tips to bs board: - spread your fingers - don't be shy to climb the board under you on a rail to do this trick. Many people thinks that boardslide is only about landing on a rail. - try to find your own comfortable and correct angle to jump in. - the best lenght to start the practice is the lenght of your arm.

Another super solid video. I enjoy how everything is broken down and what basics are needed to get the trick down. Questions for the SPL crew. Should beginners put rails on their decks to help with board slides? For board slides or tricks in general how tight or loose should trucks be?
@SkateparkLessons
@SkateparkLessons 3 жыл бұрын
Great questions Dean! Looser trucks work best but some people ride medium and some ride tight. Medium and Tight won’t work well bowls. Loose is good for all around but flip tricks are a little harder. Rails are fun to experiment with and provide a consistent slide but add weight to your board and will rattle after a while. Cheers man and thanks for your support 💙🛹💙

Do you think you'll ever make a video about whether to "pinch" grinds/slides heelside or toeside? I know for board slides, we want the weight even (so this isn't the best comment section to use), but it would be cool to have all pinches consolidated into one video.

Remember, kids: don't just go around waxing up ledges in any given park - remember skate etiquette and check with the locals if they mind whether you wax up an obstacle or not. If you live in Southern California, most of the ledges are already pretty damn buttery from wax already anyway lol.

For this one it's because the ledge is on your backside (heels) not in front of you (toe side) as you roll up to it. Welcome to skateboarding. I swear I don't name tricks properly still after twenty odd years. It gets wierd in different stances too so I just don't bother :)
